nice lil mod for bf2(whilst awaiting poe2), more weapons than you can shake a stick at (ie engineer gets pistol, machine gun, shotgun, wrench, knife),
and with 3.9 they have improved the textures 100 fold on 3.8.
AA missiles as heli pilot as well as rockets
oh and they remade gazala 
only downside is they have split the maps into "packs" although it comes with
map pack 3 you still need to d/l packs 1 & 2.
worth a look if your bf2 disk is sat gathering dust / coffee coaster.

the mod has some great ideas but i personaly think it WAY to unrealistic
i preffer playing project reality mod (or for now the mini mod cause it aint out yet)

agreed but i'm having more fun in it than vanilla bf2, if I wanted realism I'd have joined the army and got shot for real  . (if your health goes into the red you bleed to death unless someone heals you - thats annoying in itself and probably the only realistic thing about the mod)
BF2 seems to have spawned a thousand mods but alas only a couple that I can think of have had a full release so far. shout when the one your playing gets a full release and I'll have a looksie.
anyone else found some decent mods for bf2 that are out?

Hi,
Hmm cant people use there own ideas in stead of borrowing others?
if your health goes into the red you bleed to death unless someone heals you <-- Americas army anyone? seems alot of bf2 ideas are took from americas army :X

I know this post is a bit old, but i know a good mod, incase u's do not know it, its called sandbox

http://sandboxaddicted.com/ thats a very good sandbox fan-site, with lots of good members, when i used to have sand box, 1 of those members was me, but i un-installed BF2, although i have it back now, i just have to wait fior bandwith so i can dload SBX and the BF2 1.41 patch so it works(i only have v1.0 omg lol) Enjoy, i bet u all know it anyway, and just so u know, its a mod where u can place move and do other stuff with BF2 things, u can even spawn all the vehicles and hold them in air, i used to make sky houses and underwater tunnels, it can be annoying at start, but when u get used to it its very very very very fun, i love it, and still waiting for 1.0 |
